My Long Journey can Become Your Shortest Path

We all follow a path in life. If we drift along it becomes at best a dream. and at worst a nightmare. Most often people end up walking a pre-determined path not entirely of their own choosing. For your life to have meaning, you must discover, your IKIGAI. Then life becomes a Hero's Journey, in which you establish and express your identity, live your passions, contribute to the world, and receive your rewards. Though each person does this in their own way, there are tried and true ways to make the Journey easier and more enjoyable.

The first is to participate in High Quality Conversations, which I curate for selected groups through exclusive meetings with a Tea Master and Zen Master, where you discover the promise and direction of the Path. The second is to learn Physical Finesse for greater presence and engagement, literally how to walk the Path, which I teach through Nanba Dynamics. The third is Legendary Storytelling, where you discover the meaning of the Path for you, where you Pledge, Pursue, Present, and Profit from the Stories you share, and for this there is Do it Yourself or Do it With You Coaching.

Each of these are ways to find Meaning and create Value in your Life. Subscribe for updates, and follow discoveries and announcements on this page.

徳不孤必有隣(論語)

徳は孤ならず必ず隣あり

(from The Analects of Confucius) “If you are virtuous you will not be lonely.”

This is a good reminder, sometimes to do good in secret (intoku), or practice random acts of kindness. It does accumulate, and somebody somewhere will notice. Over time this is one of the best ways to build friendships, trust, and support.

Consider how true this has been in your life. See how the process plays out in the lives of others, and how people who constantly deceive and the advantage of others actually end up isolated and alone.

Instead of preaching morality to others, why not practice it yourself. Goodness is a quality which emanates from a Virtuous person. It is palpable, and people can sense it.

Virtue accumulates and pays Compound Interest.Yet all it takes is to think and act in a Good manner.
