Samurai Walk covers my personal and professional interests in Samurai Culture, as well as the projects I am leading as a professor at iCLA (International College of Liberal Arts) Yamanashi Gakukuin University, which is located in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, near Mt. Fuji. We are surrounded by natural beauty and sites of historic significance, as this was the area where Takeda Shingen ruled in the Sengoku Period of Japanese medieval history, and we have support for our projects from local government, temples, and shrines.
